The U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team, consisting of players born in 1994 and 1995, won the 2010 U-16 Nordic Cup with a 2-0 victory against Germany in the championship game. It was the first time the USA has attended this tournament at this age level, which featured teams of 94s and 95s. The USA earned its berth in a championship game by winning Group B with a 2-1 victory against Norway, a 3-0 triumph against Denmark and a 6-0 romp past the Netherlands.
